Many thanks to everyone who purchased Rewards Club Cards this year, together we raised $2270 for CHEO which was handed over during the telethon this past weekend.
It’s easy to introduce a child to gardening. Most children love being outdoors and giving them a special activity while they’re enjoying some fresh air is a great way to get started. Plus, children make the best gardeners because of their enthusiasm and curiosity.
What a strange start to the season, wouldn’t you say? It was so warm in April getting us all excited to get our hands dirty in the garden only to be held up in May with frost. We are pleased to say that we’ve looked at the forecast and if all goes well we should be clear of frost from this point on – hooray!
Mother’s day is just around the corner and so is summer. For any mom who loves to garden, outdoor plants are wonderful and timely Mother’s Day gifts. But before you rush off and pick out a planter or hanging basket for mom, there are a few things to consider beyond her favorite colour. You need look for an outdoor arrangement that will suit her lifestyle as well.
